North Gorham, White Rock, and the Sebago Lake Corridor
North Gorham Landmarks & Geography
North Gorham sits between Gorham Village and the southern shore of Sebago Lake, Maine’s deepest and second-largest lake. The White Rock village — a historically recognized hamlet in northern Gorham — was once a stop on the Portland and Ogdensburg Railroad. The White Rock station closed in 1921, but the former rail grade now serves as part of the Mountain Division Trail, a multi-use recreational path connecting Portland to Standish through Gorham. Babb’s Bridge, a covered bridge spanning the Presumpscot River between Gorham and Windham on Hurricane Road, is one of only nine remaining covered bridges in Maine and a recognized local landmark.
Route 237 (Mosher Road) is the primary north-south corridor through this area, connecting to Route 35 near the Sebago Lake shore in Standish. Route 202 runs east from North Gorham through the Little Falls area and south into Gorham Village. Residents also have access to Dundee Park, a popular seasonal beach and recreation area along the Presumpscot River, and the Cummings Preserve trail system.
North Gorham borders Standish to the west and Windham (including the South Windham area) to the north and east. Many residents in this area are served by the Great Falls Elementary School in the Little Falls area, with older students attending Gorham Middle School and Gorham High School in the village.
Driving from North Gorham to Morgan Dental Care

Head south on Route 237 toward Gorham Village. Route 237 crosses Route 202 at a roundabout in the Little Falls area. Continue south through the roundabout on Route 237, which becomes Route 25 East as you approach the village center. Continue on Main Street to the office. The drive from the Route 35 intersection near Sebago Lake is approximately 12–15 minutes.
From White Rock / North Gorham Road
From the White Rock area, take North Gorham Road or local connecting roads to Route 237. Head south on Route 237 through the roundabout at Route 202 and continue into Gorham Village. The office is on Main Street in the village center.
From Hurricane Road / Babb’s Bridge Area
