Dental Hygienist
The dental hygienist position at Morgan Dental Care that we are currently seeking to fill represents a great opportunity to put your career on a path to growth with opportunities for advancement. You will be joining a team of professionals dedicated to caring for our growing family of patients.
As a hygienist here, you will treat each patient according to their unique individual needs, with sufficient time to accomplish the necessary treatment, not limited to insurance policy restrictions. Hygiene services in our practice include conservative periodontal care involving longer visits and/or a series of appointments as well as implant care. We believe in supporting growth and developing the skills and leadership ability of each team member. And we will provide a stepwise path to you for advancement within our practice.
To qualify for this position, you need your Maine RDH license and the desire to learn and grow to become all you can be; your experience will determine your starting point. Does your ability and experience already include advanced skills in perio treatment? Great! This will be an opportunity to use and further grow those skills. If you don’t already have that, this will be a perfect opportunity for you to gain those skills. We can provide both outside CE and in-office coaching and training in whatever you need to succeed, by one of the best: our lead hygienist, Debbie Loveitt (see below*). Some Particulars
- Four to five days per week; patient hours 8-5 with a lunch break
- Eight scheduled hours per day of patient care
- Routine adult appointments are one hour
- No weekends or evening hours
- Salary: $80,000-$120,000

*Debbie Loveitt has had a 45-year career with us and is nearing retirement. During her time with us, Deb has taken countless hours of CE including hands-on training in advanced hygiene and periodontal care and advanced patient communication. She is a true master of these skills and has gone on to teach and consult, working independently, locally and nationally with consulting firms such as Advanced Hygiene Concepts, Mission Possible and Dental Boot Kamp. To whatever degree is appropriate for you, Deb is a unique resource ready and available to coach your growth.
